There is a story of a man who made his living selling balloons. This man had a great array of balloons in many different colors including blue, orange and green.
When business was slow the balloon seller would let a balloon filled with helium float up high so it could be seen across the entire park. Once the children saw the balloon floating in the sky, they would ask their parents for one and his business would pick up.
One day, a boy came up to the man and asked: “If you released a black balloon would it still fly?”
Looking at the concern on the boy’s face, the balloon seller gently replied: “Son it is not the color of the balloon that makes it fly, it’s what’s inside that makes it rise.”
The same thing applies to our lives. It’s what’s inside that counts. That thing inside of us – our attitude.
