Episode #2: How to get started when you have failed so many times before

Today’s question…

Dear Brainstorm,

I am finding it really hard to start the diet and exercise program that will help me lose the extra weight I am carrying around. I look in the mirror and I feel disgusted with what I see and then I feel motivated to lose weight until the next morning when my alarm goes off early and I just don’t want to get out of bed to exercise. Each day I say ‘tomorrow it will start’ or by the time the weekend comes I promise myself that I will start on Monday but the same cycle starts again.

How do I motivate myself to start doing what I need too in order to lose weight?
